I joined Cisco AppDynamics, a $3.7 billion leader in Application Performance Monitoring in Winter of 2017. AppDynamics was going through a rebrand and redesign of several pages including the homepage when I first started. I helped the UX Lead in research studies, conducting user interviews, experiment with wireframes and visual design. During our research, we went through multiple rounds of testings which included quantitative and qualitative usability testings, A/B testings to gain actionable insights. We were user focused on our users and worked our strategy around them. I worked with my UX Lead, Content Strategists, Designers, Developers and Engineers, Product Marketing Managers, Business Analyst, and Creative Technologists. Teamwork was a huge part of this success.
The recommended layout was chosen after the research and study. I worked with other designers on the team on creating different variations with the content and information on the page.
I was the owner of the style guide. I was responsible for the layout, adding and removing elements, and working with engineers with styling.
